I'm not sure what resolution it is running at as I have the same problem. My monitor is 1920x1200 and when I launch it, the resolution changes and my monitor displays an out of range message. I have to turn the bloody system off and then on again to regain visuals on my monitor.

Ok, I fixed it on my PC. It looks like the comic looks at the Windows Screen Resolution and picks the highest resolution listed. In my case, the highest resolution was 2560x1440 even though my monitor is 1920x1200.

The first thing I'd do is check your windows resolution settings and see if there is a setting listed that is higher than the "recommended" resolution in the drop down list.

If you do see that there is a resolution listed above the recommended, then there are a few things you can try (these are instructions for WIndows 7):

1) from the Screen Resolution settings, click "Advanced Settings." Click the "Monitor" tab at the top of the Advanced Settings window and click "Hide Modes that this Monitor Cannot Display." Then click Apply. If the option is already checked, or, if after checking the option you still have the incompatible resolution listed in the resolution drop down menu, here's the next step:

2) Download the Custom Resolution Utility. This is the tool that actually fixed it for me. I downloaded and ran CRU.exe and deleted the resolution that my monitor didn't support, rebooted the computer, and now the comic runs beautifully.

Good luck!

I am currently having the same problem could you tell me exactly how do you delete a resolution with the cru tool?

Here's what worked for me. Go to the installation folder >> Digital Comic >> Right click on digitalcomic.exe >> properties >> compatibility >> Disable full screen optimization
