Azar Javed (last boss)?
How am i to defeat him? Ive used swallow, potion that gives endurance, blizzard, dust that gives 40% dmg, anti stun/knockdown potion. But does it help? No, CUS HE BLINDS ME EVERY 5 SECS! Blinding is apparantly the same as stun, cus i cant do anything while he just beats me to death. I even beat those 2 before with full hp, but its as if a start with half against him? How do i defeat him, when he out of nowhere can just AOE blind and kill me while i watch?

As I understood its possible to choose which place you fight against Javed and if you choose to trap Javed at swamp tower his powers should be weaker because of all the water not sure if you did that.

Well for this to work you have to speak two both Ramsmeat and Kalstein (after you prove they innocent of course) they give you clue that Azad is weaker in places with water and such (after you tell them about Azad) and update quest for trap and then you talk to Raymond (Azad).

If you done everything right your character will suggest to meet at swamp tower that's how I made him go there not sure yet how weaker he is because I haven't got to boss fight because of side quests and checking if I done everything before I advance but reading all walkthroughs and such gave me impression that making swamp tower as best place to fight Azad.

PS I lied to Raymond(Azad) that I killed Ramsmeat in case you wonder.

Are you sure thats not the ending of chapter 2? Where you go around putting those stones in to open the tower in the swamp. You have to fight him and the professor there

Finished the game yesterday, I had the 50% blind resist talent (a silver Dexterity one), and I used that potion to prevent knockdowns and such, I kept knocking him down with Aard and attacking with the sword and maxed out Igni that dealt a lot of damage despite him being a fire mage, lol. You must still be pretty lucky with the blind resist and his behavior in general, but you can do it. Save before you enter the room and redo it if it goes bad.
I couldn't carve because he fell in the pit after dying, but whatever, it was a nice death. Berengar was alive too, not sure how he survived, got lucky too I guess.

Dont know if i have that talent. Is ignit still effective against him, or is he being a fire mage actually making it do less dmg?

Thats me trying to beat him. He insta blinds me, beats me half to death, then i can knock him back, get 2 hits, then instant aoe blind again. You cant dodge it, you cant see when its coming, what the ♥♥♥♥?!
I have saved just before i go into the room with the 2 big minions, but the developers thought it was a good idea to skip directly to the boss battle afterwards, so you have to see the cutscenes and not be able to prepare, just like with the beast.. I just want to get this game over with..

I beat him. It was hard yes, but I did it. I used Swallow (HP regen), Willow (stun immunity), Petri's Philter (+sign intensity), and the potion that increases endurance regen. I also had a fully upgraded Igni which would stun Javed on cast. I fought him in melee up until I got to low HP, using Igni the second I had the endurance to cast it. After I got to low HP, I started just running away, using Igni the moment I could. It takes a while, but its the safest way to do it. If you really want to fight him in melee, do one combo and roll away, to avoid the blind.

Yeah, he and "the Beast" at the end of chapter 1 were the worst programmed and most random battles of the game, where luck plays the major role. I don't know how much damage your Igni makes and how many times you can cast it, but I spammed it and took down his second half of HP with just 4-5 hits, so apparently it still does major damages. Haven't used the "slow motion" potion when I won, just went at regular speed.
It also helps if you happen to have that sword that doubles damage to humans and ignores armor, you get it by giving the final fighter tooth to the dentist and maybe somewhere else too, not sure.

just use full moon, I was completely unable to do this fight...

Then I used that potion and did it very easily.

Keeping Berengar alive is near impossible though.

The game doesn't expect Berengar to survive, either way.

Don't expect anything cool anyway, he survived to me and while inspecting the lab he just said something like "I must go my way now", and he's never to be seen again.

Yeah, he's expected to die to Javed.
