I just beat The Witcher, and.... [potential spoilers?]

...I'm in love. But seriously, give me more.

I am soooo glad that I decided to go back and play the previous Witcher titles before I tackle Wild Hunt (3 weeks to go, I can do this)! Playing through The Witcher: Enhanced Edition was nothing short of an thrilling kick-off to what I have high hopes will be a superb series of games! I spent 47 hours in this game! 47!! In a game with no open world and no sandbox mechanics! I know expressing such sentiments only serves to highlight my age, but I'm just blown away by how invested I got in the story of The Witcher! I even found myself thoroughly enjoying the combat! (I learned two things very quickly: Swallow is your best friend, and Blizzard is possibly the coolest thing since Scrolls of Icarian Flight. Also, read your Bestiary. It'll save your life).

The Witcher 2 is downloading even as I type this, and I honestly cannot wait. I don't think that I have been this excited about a game series since Skyrim came out! ^_^

I'm seeing a lot of other people having negative experiences with the game, which is a real shame. So I guess if anyone has any questions for me concerning the story or gameplay, I would be more than happy to help out!

Only thing, though... that ending cinematic has left me incredibly confused... would anyone care to explain it to me? Perhaps I missed something...
