The Vizima Confidential
I stopped playing the game a couple months ago and got back to it yesterday, and I did the quests related to the main Vizima Confidential quest, which I don't really remember anything about, so I'm asking some background about it(the wiki can spoil some details).

I did the autopsy and found out that Kalkstein is the murderer, but when I went to the detective he said that Ramsmeat is guilty, and asked me to kill him, and I didn't really understand why.

I don't want to make any stupid decisions so I'm asking you to give me some details about the quest(or the whole chapter in general), without any spoilers about one's innocence/quilt.

That's kinda hard not to spoil since it's directly related to the story and the answers will come into place if you continue on with the plot. BTW, you won't make any stupid decisions because there is no fork or choices to choose from. There is only one suspect.

I didn't go to Kalkstein yet because he has some going quest for me and I don't want to ruin them.
I just don't understand why the detective wants me to kill Ramsmeat while I found out that Kalkstein is probably the murderer(I guess I didn't listen much to what they say as well).

The detective wants you to kill Ramsmeat because he's not what he appears to be. Go to the detective's house again, notice how the Witcher's sigil keeps shaking about. That will probably give you a mild idea about how the chapter goes.

Yeah I figured out something's fishy since there is a quest about being careful with the detective.
But I'm not asking for directions here, only a clear background about the quest and it's branches.

Vizima Confidential is a quest that you recieve after the fight with the malevolent spirit in the outskirts of Vizima. Geralt is referred to a detective Raymond Maarloeve by a friend to help in finding the killers as well as the thieves of Leo and the Witcher's potions respectively. Due to a series of unfortunate events, he comes acorss a cast of very interesting yet dangerous people like Kalkstein - the alchemist. Captain Vincent - the local captain of the guard, and Rammsmeat - the local mob boss.

Is this what you mean?

Sort of, can you give me a source for that(as long it doesn't have spoilers)?

Haha! I wrote that myself. The only source of information you can have is from other posters and the spoiler-plenty wiki.

Well, your writing is quite good then.
If that so I feel like I'm asking way too much here, it would be incredibly kind and helpful if you'd continue the paragraph.
I don't really need charecter descriptions, only some information so I can know what I'm doing.
