Can't find Siegfried. {BUG?}

okay, so i've been playing this game for like 10 hours now, i've not had any problems, until now. I am currently on Chapter 3, with the 'the witchers secret' and 'the unforgiven' being my current main quests. In 'the unforgiven' i am required to gain siegfrieds trust. Well, i decided to help him out with the '6 feet under' investigation and upon return, he thanks me, gives me 200 orens and without letting me ask for his trust, enters the cloister (building he stands outside of, where he trains his men) I however, cannot enter it, so i decided to check back later... Well, he's not back outside, in fact, he's not anywhere. I've looked litteraly everywhere for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and he's nowhere to be found. I've tried waiting at different times, talking with people, and i've done most of the sidequests. I'm not sure what to do.

Can anyone give me some insight on what i might be doing wrong?

The name of the quest phase is 'Siegfrieds Trust.'

Siegfried can be found near Temple Gate in Temple Quarter at day

Did you ever figure out how to do it? It just happened to me and I tried loading an earlier save, but the same ♥♥♥♥ happens.

Siegfried doesn't stay in the surrounding of the order main quarter. Later on you may find him in the swamps (near the druids camp).

Yes he does, this is another quest than the one you're thinking of. He is close to the druid camp location before the Scoi'atel battle. But it turns out there was no bug, you just have to continue playing until you get called to the town hall and youll meet him there.

Im writing this 7 years later i know but if u didnt find a fix for this problem i can tell u how to. once sigreid entered cloister of the order you should go towards the cemetery gates. then kid will come up to you and tell u that vivaldis bank has been robbed. this will trigger the gold rush mission.
