Bandits Upstairs Making Potion for Triss
I bring the ingredients to Lambert and he says there are still bandits to deal with upstairs. I have looked in every room upstairs and there are no more bandits. I have tried this at least five times, but Lambert says there are bandits. I have searched all of the areas I have access to and found no one else.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help!

It's been awhile, did you check the other stairwell? Just look around the entire keep inside. I don't *think* you have to go outside. Haven't played it since Nov. last year so I'm a little rusty.

I tried to go back to the laboratory, but the game wouldn't let me move that way. I did go to the other stairwell and walked up the stairs until I reached the point they collapsed. I didn't find any bandits. I think I have tried all the doors and they were locked. I will try again today.

I read somewhere that said the game would notify me when I found all the ingredients and killed all the bandits and that I should speak to Lambert. I tried loading a saved game before searching for the ingredients about 10 times yesterday and couldn't find any more bandits in any of them.

I have modded my game. Do you think that could be the problem?

That maybe it depending on what they are. Sometimes in the forums I see people encountering various quest bugs because of what the mods allow. But I'm not an expert on which does what.

Do the mods you have installed have a forum page or something like it you can ask others or the modder themselves?

I don't know. They probably do. I had them installed many years ago when i played this. I looked up some of them on Nexus and they appear to be the same. Nothing mentions a problem with this quest.

I could try to remove the Override folder and see what happens.

I removed the Override folder and things got worse. I started a new game with the Override folder and all of my mods intact. I saved a lot as I went. All the bandits were there this time and I proceeded with no problems. Thanks!
