The talismans kinda suck

They work at making enemies stay away, sure, but you can't interact with anything if there's enemies nearby, so you have to kill them anyways, and it's a pain in the ass because they won't stop running away every time you swing your sword at them. Eventually, I just took them off so that the monsters would start grouping up near me again so I could wipe them all out at once with the group style.

Yeah, agreed. Equipping any kind of a talisman just makes everything worse, especially in ch5 with Drowners and such. Although I won't lie, It's funny how easily this could have been avoided by just making it so the monsters either don't care about you and won't initiate a fight, or just run out of sight and despawn.
