It can definately be a help with the bestiary entries as well. It can be pricey to buy the books for them, and this wiki will often show you were you can either get the book for free or the entry for free or cheap. For example, one of the old ladies in the village at the outskirts will give you the drowner entry for dirt cheap (a scrap of food is the price I beliece), and you can get the book for ghouls by beating the drunkard at the inn in a drinking game. Stuff like that.

This answer is rather general, and not actually helpful in this specific case. The related entry says that talking to the knight near the town hall unlocks kikimora claws. I have had that conversation, got the night pass, and killed many nearby kikimora workers. I still have no bestiary entry, and no claws have dropped - only tracheae.
