Where can I find the ghoul book in chapter 1?

I need to get a book on ghouls so I can harvest their blood and complete a quest in chapter 1. Does anyone know where I can find this book?

You can get the info about ghouls for free from some old lady that will tell you a story if you gift her food.

I'm stuck on this part now, and I read something that you get it from the drunkard in the inn. How do I get to his wares? He keeps asking for a drink, then I get too drunk for anything and it only gives me options to drink more, nothing comes up like ask a question or see what he's selling.

You don't drink with the guy who sells books. He just tells you he sells books and can't enter the city, so you can buy from him.

You have to out drink him. Get a good supply of beer (like 6-7) and go one by one. If you win, he will give you that book in a final 'speech'.
