killing the werewolf

Anyone know if you can kill the werewolf after meeting it for the first time? The first time out of the enemy area i met the werewolf but didn't kill him at that time. I figured i wanted to get werewolf fur for a potion but realized.. mmm i don't think i can fight the werewolf after that one initial encounter. Anyone know if its possible later?

Nope. If you don't kill him he just becomes normal if you complete "Beauty and the Beast" and comes back with city guards to help in the barfight near the end of the chapter. If you don't complete that mission then he just disappears from the game.
