Witcher 1 Crashing after windows update fix

I updated windows 10 version and after that the game would instantly crash when starting. Reinstalling did not help.

The FIX:
To fix this, use windows compatibility mode for the "witcher.exe".

For me it was in:
\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System

Right click the witcher.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Turn the mode on, i selected win 7.

ohh so it wasnt only me, i tried w7 and vista and neither works, im trying a reinstall as it worked with other games that never wanted to start before, if it insist in not working ill try different troubleshooting.
