The Elder druid is able to create a storm (expensive). If you wait for rain then you get the "storm" for free.
Just curious, does anyone know what happens if you skip the druid rain-maker, can you still stick the lightning rod into the golem if it's not raining? If yes, will the cut-scene of the golem waking up play even though there's no lightning? If there's no cut-scene, can you move away into the swamp, keeping the golem in sight, and wait there for lightning?
Damn, I want to try this but just recently cleared my local save-game cache so I don't have a convenient save to start from.
