Do I really have to kill Ramsmeat?

You have to find Raymonds body in the cemitery. To enter the cemitery you have to prove Thaler or Vincent innocent, I proved Thaler first. To do it, the easiest way for me was to go to Shani's party, after the authopsy, and after the party giving her Red Roses, this will maker her give you evidences of Thaler is innocent, than go to him and get the "pass" to enter the cemitery

You can do it another way. Just don't get all pissy with him when you question him, and Geralt will conclude he's not Salamandra. Then talk to him again, and you'll have the option to tell him you've eliminated him as a suspect, thereby closing that quest.

Because if you get the authopsy wrong, as I did, Raymond you order you to kill him, than to kill him you have to do what I said before

Jesus Christ, thanks man you just saved my game. I understood a little too late that something was wrong with the detective but I already took the quest to kill Ramsmeat. Now I can bypass it and change things a little. Many thanks.

What the hell are you guys talking about? What party is this? I dont have any party to go in the game, it doesnt say that has a party. Im trying to kill this bastard called ramstead and those guards are impossible

It's literraly been almost 10 years I played it, so I'm sorry if something is wrong. If I recall correctly, its a party that happens in the romance with Shani. Keep doing her quests and stuff, eventually she will invite you to a party. Than follow what me from almost 10 years ago posted here

Ramsmeat and his minions aren't as invincible as they might seem. Maybe this video will give you some ideas on how to greatly improve Geralt's martial arts - the fight only lasts a minute (DL "hard", vanilla).

The fact that you can't lie to the "detective" and need to kill Ramsmeat can be for a number of reasons.

• Have you possibly accused Ramsmeat (or other suspects) without sufficient evidence?
  
• Did you mess up the autopsy? This can easily happen if you didn't follow Shani's advice and didn't do enough research beforehand. For example, if you ask the gardener more closely, you can elicit a few things about Serrikanian insects...
