But the game insisted so much in me taking a side I said "♥♥♥♥ game, ok, I'm gonna chose".
It was an excellent playthrough!
Oh, and Witcher Wikia confirms my suspicion: if you'd like to follow through the other possible paths for whatever reason, the restarting point would be at the end of Chapter IV, when the Order is surrounding the Scoia'tael in Murky Waters and Alvin, Dandelion and Geralt are caught in the middle.
Cheers!
And frankly, playing the Scoia'tael path and keeping Alvin with Shani made me much closer to her, to the point that Triss, on the other hand, became a total nuissance. Always on a bad mood and not much of a help. Besides, I didn't understand her dialog with the ladies through the mirror, which made me give Alvin to Shani in the first place.
So I'm thinking of playing only the main quests again but on neutral, so I can do some missions alongsinde Triss, since she is supposed to be one of Geralt's favourite lovers.
