21:9 cutscene fix??

i realize this is an old game so im not expecting much however when playing on a widescreen the game play fine theres nothing wrong with the game or UI however cutscenes do not work at all. when a cutscene happens itll play the cutscene up until the VERY first frame of that cutscene and then itll just freeze however the cutscene is still playing in the background and i can still continue to playthrough the game but for obviouse reason i would like to actually see the cutscenes so does anyone know if there is a fix for this at all?

I was sure there was another mod on nexus that fixes this as well but for some reason I can't find it.


Make sure you limit the game fps and your refresh rate below 150 fps /Hz as the game has severe performance issue on anything higher (at least when I tested on all the way to 280 hz from 144 Hz /fps. The 144 Hz / fps works the best.

If you limit the refresh rate to your exact fps the game latency would also drastically decrease (which is good.)


Also the mods really make a game look better , obviously don't expect much sine the game is old but I played with mods and I can't go back to original anymore.

I posted pictures on nexus of how the game looks with all the mods , my name there is Warhiz24.

I finished the game and all mods work together fine , the only issue is in chapter 4 where an side character Nair is glichted other than that no issues except few possible crashes in old vizima when loading map.

yeah im not expecting much of an upgrade when it comes to how the game looks but ill definitely look into the mods and the link you sent as well
