Longer Version; Characters yes, plotlines not so much.
You play as Geralt, Triss is a major part of all the games as the main love interest, and Ciri and Yennefer are a big part of 3. Other random side characters appear in smaller roles such as King Foltest in 1 and 2, some of the other Witchers (Vesimir, Lambert, and Eskel) in 1 and 3, and a few others (mainly in 3) such as Dijstra and random side mages.
As far as plotlines the show is set much earlier in Geralts life than the games are so is inherently very different. The show contradicts the games in several ways, Eskel being killed off, Dandelion being renamed Jaskier, several characters like Triss and Fringilla are black/brownwashed (because Netflix), and Nilfguard invading The North while Ciri is still a kid rather than when she's an adult.
Witcher 1 and 2 have nothing to do with the show plotwise aside from some of the same characters appearing. Witcher 3 however follows a similar plot to what the show does with the Nilfguard-North war and Ciri's powers, except it's set far later down the line than it is in the show as Nilfguard only begins its invasion a bit before 3 starts long after Ciri has trained under Geralt and left to go on her own thing rather than while she was still a helpless kid like when they do in the show and thus how the plot plays out is very different.
Games are fanmade continuations to the books and happen in the years 1270-1272.
What Mr_Faorry is false. In all Witcher games, you will learn a little lore from the books and that is the same story that you are watching on Netflix. For example, in chapter 4 if you talk to one person he will tell a legend about Ciri (things that happened in season 1-2 Netflix)
Also, Triss loved Geralt always in the books but Geralt loves Yennefer more. It's a kinda triad drama.
Dandelion is an English version of the polish word Jaskier. So Jaskier is his original name from the polish book.
Nilfgaard evaded Ciri when she was 12 years old, you can learn this from the timeline link that ill post below.
About Yennefer there is a HUGE spoiler from the books on why she is not part of W1, keep reading this if you want to know. If you don't want to know skip to after ***
