nVidia hair glitches

Found out how to fix this, this works most of the time (though sometimes I've run into issues):

Use the nVidia control panel to turn on vSync for witcher.exe (or system wide), also fix the FPS to your monitor hertz, or 60fps (which is what I do)

Also, unless you have a HUGE screen, run the game at 1080p (1920x1080) even if you have a 4k display. Might glitch a little bit when you first do this though, but exiting and reloading the game fixes it. The reason for this is the UI doesn't scale with increased screen resolutions.

Oh yeah, and and max out your video settings. this game is 14 years old, chances are your current video card won't even flinch processing the graphics in this game.
