Btw.: Don't delete your saves without backup copies. You never know ...
You can do both in "options" once the game is launched. Save and then you can reset the resolution.
So, on the Internet I found advice that you should change control mode to Isometrics. I did so. At the same time, I discovered that I was going the wrong way at first (probably). So instead of running to the gate to the Temple Quarter (where the order troops come from) I run to the gates of Old Vizima (which is on the side of the elven troops) and entered the gate. It wasn't the last crash (unfortunately) but it helped me to avoid it here.
Again, I'm not sure whether choosing the isometrics helped here or I just went to a different location to soon so that the bug just didn't have enough time to happen. So you can try it separatelly or both at the same time :)
P.S. Asmaa, reducing the resolution didn't work in my case - I try it first and foremost since it did help to fix some crashes before. But I didn't heard about disabling fullscreen more, so I'll probably try it the next time. Thanks.
