It would be nice if there is a way to fix it, although I already played through half of the game on easy mode (everything else is impossible without health bars lol)
Strange.
If you don't (and didn't) use any cheats, mods, the savegame editor etc. then upload your actual save and post the link.
Hi, thank you very much for your reply! This is my first time playing and I haven't installed any additional mods (to my knowledge). I only bought the Witcher games bundle on Steam. I'm not sure how to upload a save and post the link (do you mean a saved game?)
Here is a SS of what I see in combat: (no HP bar for Geralt to the left and no red circle under the mob)

Use Windows OneDrive, if you are a Windows user. Or Dropbox etc.
If not: use www.mediafire.c*om. I had to add a star in .c*om, because Steam removes the link without the star. (You have to remove the star when you sign in; it's free and quite useful for exchange.)
If you are seeking for your savegames: Use the explorer and seek for
*.thewitchersave
Anyways
I am currently midway through chapter one and have realized that I cannot see geralt's HP or the red bar under enemies AT ALL.
I've read only on one discussion board that someone experienced this but I could not see any updates.
Some people sad it was bad installation but I don't really have any idea of what to do. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!!
delete and download visual C++ 2015-2022 again. (control panel uninstall apps.)
try using dxvk and run game (which will run it in vulkan. and so fix the issue if the problem was dx9.dll)
try using a mod that replace HUD and see if you see health bar.
like: AI upscale AiO AI Textures with RotWW and The Witcher Overhaul Project by lexo1000
and then
use -dontforceminreqs command when right clicking game on steam and use Textures Settings Downgrade Fix that is under (since its newer version than from main file.)
(you need winrar to uncompressed files and make sure you put it into Override folder that is in The Witcher Enhanced Edition/Data.)
you can also run adventure editor to see error logs and figure which files are not loading and try delete them and install them again.
let me be clear all this non-sense step of RE-INSTALLATION / UN-INSTALLATION BLAH BLAH are crap shoot. again quit replying if you're not sure and if you don't have the same problem. its like watching anime wherein you don't even like to watch anime just watching for the sake you could suggest useless and non-sense steps etc.
