The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

What is the play order for this game 1?
There is the main game and then a number of stories you can choose from. Are the stories in order and are they all set after the main story?

it is better to go through all the parts of the witcher in order and if you want to go deeper into the story you can read the books of Andrzej Sapkowski

Yes but what is the order? Is it main story an then sidestories in the order they stand?

The side stories come first. You can leave most of them out as they aren't considered 'canon' in the games universe, however it best to do The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects (in that order) as these are considered canon and official parts of the story.

Hope this helps.

Actually can someone tell the play order of the sidestories? The Swamp seems a bit weird as a starting point?

The only two that are canon are The Price of Neutrality and Side Effects. The rest are not official content.

Price of Neutrality is decent, Side Effects kinda blows and reuses one of the main areas in the main campaign. I recommend playing the former and skipping the latter.
