Report a translation problem
I also had a crash to desktop when I was doing nothing except walking around collecting flowers, so now I save my game very often.
Seems pretty normal for a ten-year-old game or whatever it is. I'm enjoying it I guess. For some reason, I decided to play the first two games before I play Witcher 3. Probably was a mistake, probably should have spent the same money on getting the Witcher 3 plus all expansions instead of getting the base game plus the two previous games in the series... but too late now.
I finally made it work as Lancer31 indicated.
Also, you made a good decision about playing 1 and 2 first. The Witcher 3 is, imo, the best of the saga, but you will miss A LOT (really, a lot) of stuff if you dont know the storyline in 1 and 2 because they refer to past events really often. Have fun!
