No interface control on game load

I load the game, "Load game"is highlighted but there is no mouse, I can't do anything. Only click on that "Load game" and even then I can load only one save. The one directly under what supposed to be coursor placement (and yeah, it is not a "fresh"save either). Have to close using Task Manager. Tried reinstalling game, which didn't help.

Are there any solutions? Previously everything worked just fine.

Quick update: Apparently if you hold Shift key mouse will work just fine. Alternatively you could change resolution to default and then back to preferred one (let's see if it works after game restart).
Update 2: Apparently, it doesn't.Even Shift+Tab to update this post kinda "restarts" the thing. Back to holding Shift when in menu...

You can try disabling Steam overlay to see if that helps
