Crash problem
Hi guys.Why does the game constantly crash? Is there a solution for this problem? How do you play?

Specs? OS? Mine didnt crash a single time, using win10.

Windows 10 64 bit
Motherboard : MSI 970A-G46
Video card : ASUS DUAL-RX460-O2G
Ram : 16 GB
Processor : AMD FX 6300

The game crashes necessarily within 3-5 minutes of opening. I'm waiting for your help.

I also have win10 64bit. Intel though and 8GB RAM
mine doesn't crush either but for some people it helped to run it in window mode. It's not the best solution I know. but you could try

yea there is a general problem. for some people it's unplayable and some other doesn't even get one crash

Game just crashed for the 1st time, W7 16Gb RAM, Nvidia 1050 TI...
I'll try to switch to windowed mode, see if it helps.

EDIT: Windowed mode is just Fullscreen set to "Off"?

The main reason for the game crashing near and around the start is when the game tries to auto save and can't. This can be because either the OS and/or some anti-virus is denying the game permission to create save files.

The fastest way to check is once you get into the game try to make a manual save, if that crashes your game then you have found the problem.

Unfortunately, none of your suggestions have resolved the issue.

- I turned off the anti-virus and tried. Crash again.

- I tried recording manually, but it didn't crash immediately when I got the recording, but after then it again crashed as usual.

- I tried to open the game on the window screen but the result did not change back.

This game really made me nervous.

So, uninstall and install it again. If it doesn't work, the problem is your PC. Maybe, the game files have a corrupted file

Are you getting the crashes after many hours playing the game without issue? Maybe steam cloud is filled (I just had this issue). Go to the game settings, to the updates tab and look how much space is available in steam cloud. If there is little/no storage available either delete old save files in game or disable steam cloud.

Not sure if this will make a difference or not, but I couldn't see the cutscenes until after turning the light setting to low (that is in the advanced options). Maybe tinker with those?! Wish I could be of more help. The Netflix series is one reason I"m back into this game. The other is seeing people say that it's crashing from Windows 10. Thought I would give it a try. If I find something else to help out, will try to remember to post it here. Best of luck all!
