Memory of a Blade Quest - Zoltan dialog

OK, i finally found Zoltan on the street, yet there is no dialog regarding to the sword.
I looked it up and some people said you need the Original silver sword to trigger it..
Is that true and is it possible to add it back?

Zoltan Won't talk about the Silver Sword.

I have followed "Memory of a Blade" up through talking to Shani, and she mentioned Zoltan. But, when I try to talk to Zoltan about it, I am not getting any conversation options about the silver sword. Any suggestions?

Yup. Like I said, they are identical, right up to Zoltan. But Zoltan refuses to play his part. Any other suggestions?

Probably a little bit late, but I had the same issue and found a fix. This can only be done if you can find the save game editor and have it correctly installed.

1. Store your current silver sword at the inn or similar. Take note of current equipment.
2. To save time stand next to Zoltan, then Save game and Exit
3. Run Save Game Editor and open your most recent save
4. Click equipment tab and confirm your current worn equipment, on the left, is correct
5. On the right side expand the folder for silver sword. Look for Witcher's Silver Sword.
6. Select one. Click "add item." Confirm it has appeared in worn equipment
7. Under the File dropdown menu hit click "save"
8. Relaunch the game and load your save
9. Check to see if new dialog appears.

This worked for me on my second attempt. I didn't note which sword I initially used, but the sword with the ID string it_svswd_001, prompted the dialog option.
