Alt+Tab crash

So, I wanted to play witcher for the first time.
However, as soon I tried to alt+tab out of the game for a short amount of time the screen completely froze, I could do nothing, not even opening the task manager.
I tried this out on other games, but there everything went fine.

Anyone could have an idea on why this is happening?

Don't alt tab in fullscreen mode only in window mode (or borderless fullscreen since it's still technically window mode anyway).

You will have less problems in window mode then in fullscreen mode in any game.

yea, I kinda noticed that..
Even gmod has this problem.

I don't know. When I said that fullscreen mode doesn't like alt tabing all the time I was speaking generally for all games but that doesn't mean they all react same.

That's why I suggested to play in window mode (or borderless fullscreen) since with that there is less chance you get problems like freezing or even game crash too.
