windows 10 Hair Glitch fix

so i was trying to find a fix to this problem and after reasearching and messing around a bit i was able to fix it by turning on Vertical Sync in my nvidia control panel.

To find control you should right click your desktop (mine wasnt there so i had to re download my driver to fix)

after your in click Manage 3D settings

Under global settings scroll to the bottem and turn V sync to on

Problem fixed for me.

2024 fix, AMD graphics, FreeSync monitor and Windows 11.
In Adrenalin software under Gaming menu select The Witcher and use these settings:
AMD FreeSync: On
Radeon Chill: Off
Wait for Vertical Refresh: Always Off
Apparently anything that tries to control framerate that is not FreeSync messes with hair/beards.

Turned off both in nvidia and in the game. Worked for me! Thanks

Windows 11, RTX 3070Ti - solved by enabling v-sync in nvidia settings. I had to "Add program" and only forced it for Witcher.exe and restarted the game. This also fixed some other weird glitches I was experiencing while playing on ultra wide display. Thank you!
