windows 10 Hair Glitch fix
so i was trying to find a fix to this problem and after reasearching and messing around a bit i was able to fix it by turning on Vertical Sync in my nvidia control panel.

To find control you should right click your desktop (mine wasnt there so i had to re download my driver to fix)

after your in click Manage 3D settings

Under global settings scroll to the bottem and turn V sync to on

Problem fixed for me.

enabling vsync resolves the hair glitch?

Thanks

I don’t know if windows 10 did something recently but I went to the control panel and turned on V-Sync but the glitchy hair still pops up. 😞

i set a limit to FPS in the nvidia application settings for witcher.exe

seems to have fixed it

How much FPS did you put on the limit? Do I need to restart the game after I apply the changes?

This also worked for me on an RX 5700 XT.

I just turned on Radeon Chill and set it to 75 FPS (I have a 75 Hz monitor) and it instantly solved the problem. Didn't even need to restart the game.

Merci beaucoup ! The characters' hair was flipping and clipping all over the place before I tried turning V sync on.

Wanted to bump and add that this indeed helped me as well on windows 10. Went into geforce settings for individual applications, and on the witcher's specific .exe I turned off vertical sync, set the frame limit to match my monitor's hz refresh rate of 144, and I also told it to set the applications refresh rate to application-controlled. Like others, didn't even reboot the game. Seems fixed. Thank you.
