Giving up the game in the Epilogue??!!?!?!
This is my first walkthrough of Witcher 1 and I've choosen the easiest difficulty level on purpose! Because I wanted to play the game for the story!!! I didn't want too much trouble with combat and dying a lot! I just wanted making progress in the story!

This was ok until the epilogue!

But in the epilogue there is this Zeugl! This boss is suddenly MUCH more difficult than any other enemies so far in the game, and I can't kill it! (and of course I don't know if there is an even more difficult boss after it) I've tried about 20 times and I feel this boss fight is completely hopeless. I hardly have any potions left ( Tawny Owl, Willow, Wolverine, kiss) No vitality potions! I have many high quality strong alcohols but don't have any potion ingredients! So I can't make swallow!
I've watched videos, how to kill it, but I still die before defeating it!
My igni level is 5 but the tentacles always kill me before I could burn the head to death!

I am thinking of giving up the game!

Any advice???

thank you

Why? No.

Yes. If you have Igni lvl 5 then it should be possible to kill the Zeugl. But you have to kill the tentacles first. Try it this way:

DL: hard. Your DL is easy, so you should succeed despite your somewhat carefree preparation.

Thank you!
I've tried a few times again but I couldn't kill the Zeugl!
But I was curious about the story so I used a Vitality mod and finished the game.

I think the difficulty level of this game is not well balanced. I had no trouble until the epilogue when it became suddenly much more difficult.

Sry, no, Samick, be honest with yourself. Your preparation was bad, and you were too lazy about changing this situation. So if you want to complain: Don't target the game or the devs.

It's literally printed in the Journal Entry for this mob that you have to remove its tentacles *first* in order to kill it.....

All that one-shotting of a bazillion drowners does set up a false sense of security later, I'll grant ya that.
