Necessary mods for first playthrough

Finally wanting to get into Wicher series starting with the first, don't wanna skip first and even second like most do just because buying into Witcher 3 hype and leave the other two behind because they've aged.

What are the best mods after all these years? I've heard combat is the most rough part, I don't mind if there's mods to change that.

LE: The combat system is absolute garbage worst I've seen for an action RPG with or without FCR

Thanks, i've found that link searching google but it seems to be full of adware. This is what I get even with ublock on.

it wasn't like this before. i also checked and disappointed all those new ads and pop up. i know owner of site https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198036266498/ but he is offline for weeks tho.

That's a shame since it seems to be a long list. I'll just search by name on google on other websites. Still open to opinions about what mods to use.

There isn't any good inventory mods which is frustrating to me..since the inventory is one of the most annoying things about this game.

Flash mod and HD textures. Also Genie wish mod.
And about combat system - in my opinion its ok for 2007 year game, the things that makes fights and gameplay terrible for me was vanilla camera zoom and "always run" mod. Flash mod fix both of this things and making a gameplay and fights good for me.

Thanks for replies, but I've already added mods on my own since it's been a while since i created the thread.

I'm using FCR and White Wolf plus other bug fixes and smaller mods. I can't stand the original combat how long it takes, FCR makes it much more realistic.

Or you could just play it vanilla, it's really not that bad.

I would play vanilla first run as that’s how the devs intended it to be played. The combat does break in some situations but after chapter 1 you’ll know what you need to do in order to get around when that happens.
