Oils are good,
bombs are useless,
grease is simply an ingredient in crafting oils,
meteorites need to be taken to a blacksmith.

thanks but what about runes? and btw i ask blacksmith, he said bring something for de wett, so i cant use the rune and meterotie

Swallows , Swallows , and Swallows. Get Quin leveled up so you dont die. You can play at hard.
rune swords are good, kinda took me a while to get it figured out though, and the blacksmith in new vezema just stole my stuff. Save often too.

Save the bomb using for Witcher 2 [trust me on this].

But unless you like to experiment, stick with sword combat and Igni.

I'm plowing this game on normal without using any stones, oils, or bombs. It's not hard at all. I don't even use potions that much and barely use magic. But I built geralt like a terminator by maxing str/dex/swords. If you do go caster, you can just spam igni and make the world burn. I imagine it wouldn't be much harder.
