How to Change Difficulty Mid-Game (1 Minute Resolution)

Hey guys, just resolved my issue without having to make a mini-mod or anything. I made a short video and posted it to YouTube.

This didn't seem to work for me, I was playing on hard (1002) but it was displaying as 1001 in the settings, changing this number didn't alter the difficulty one way of the other. In the end, the only way I was able to beat the Barghast boss creature was by using this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher/mods/209 which added 1000 vitality, 1000 endurance, vitality regeneration was set to 500 and endurance regeneration to 500.
