Who is the assassin in the ending?
the one who tried to kill foltest in the cinematic, i finished the game but didnt understand who he is

nope he is just not some random dude. he is also witcher and he is also from viper school and friend of letho but never mentioned his name. one of the flasbacks you can see geralt + 4 witcher letho, auckes, serrit and unnamed one

Play the second game in the series. You'll won't learn the assassin's name, but you'll learn everything else you need to know about him.
