been some time since last i played but my trick was the potion that removed the drunken status wives tears i think it is called. sorry i don't have the formula memorized anymore but because i found drunk geralt annoying to control along with this mission that potion was a time saver if not a life saver... might do some digging and try and find it

waitress at the new narakort for red woman's gloves or 100 oren

a lumberjack in the lumberjacks' glade sells all his stuff including this for 200 oren

beat yamo ryeboozer in a drinking contest at the hairy bear without having a drinking contest with the drunkard at the outskirts inn

ps if i remember right her grandma still checks up on you but keep using those and she will not chase you out for being drunk...even though everyone else is drinking and not using these potions (i would be more worried about someone in my house having my granddaughter chugging bears on her bed then a drunk in my home but i guess she just hates you)
