[FIX] Witcher has stopped working - atiumdag.dll crash on launch
So here is the gist of this issue: Its a driver issue. When you expand the crash report it will tell you that its a fault with atiumdag.dll which is part of AMD's trash drivers (Radeon DirectX Universal Driver?).

I have searched around for a potential solution for half a day without success.
As far as i can tell, there is no solid fix, so as a last attempt, i went ahead and grabbed a different version atiumdag.dll
This worked, and it didnt seem to cause any issue with other games either, but keep in mind:
This is hardly a fix, its messing with driver files from non-official sources which may or may not cause a multitude of performance and/or stability issues.
I will tell you what i did, but i wont take any guarantees on it.

- Grab atiumdag.dll 's 9.14.10.1171 version from https://www.dll-files.com/atiumdag.dll.html
- Go to \Windows\SysWOW64\ you will find an atiumdag.dll here. Archive it, rename it, do whatever you want, but back it up and have it stored somewhere to be safe. When done, put your downloaded 9.14.10.1171 version in this directory and you are done.
After i did this, witcher's enhanced edition worked for me.

Now. If you want, you can do this, but if you do so, take a moment please and go to AMD's forum or use the error reporting tool provided by AMD to tell them about this issue. Im having my face full with their drivers recently and we would be all happier if they just fixed their damn sht. :steamsalty: :steamsalty:

Didn't work for me. BTW there were no atiumdag.dll file in SysWOW64 for me. I am really disappointed by this AMD driver update

I can confirm the fix works. Doesn't seem to affect my other games atm.

Tbh this is the first major problem I've had in 5 years on Radeon that was directly attributable to the driver.
