Note that the Dwarven Antiquarian opens at 9am (he sleeps in later than the other merchants), and the Trade Quarter Bookseller is very easily lost during rain, due to how far away he runs sometimes.
I'd keep the books and enjoy reading them if I were you.
Please don't spread misinformation. There is too much online as it is. You can sell these books, don't tell people they can't. There is a vendor that buys them, as other comments have pointed out.
