Mods
What Mods Would you recommend to someone playing the game for the first time?
I'm open to all mods, be it Graphical enhancements, Gameplay Enhancements or any other random stuff.
But bear in mind, It's my FIrst Playthrough, so I'd like to keep it as clean as possible.

I'm completely new to the series, and as of a few days ago was finally ready to play after spending a few weeks screwing around with mods (yes, I'm used to modding Bethesda games...this is in my blood). The end result I've found is quite nice. So, lemmie see what mods I used, and see if this helps you. Now, I tend to stay as vanilla as possible, so you'll have to find gameplay mod recommendations elsewhere...

1) Texturmod
2) The Witcher Texture Overhaul (install *after* Texturmod and overrite)...also, I deleted the "Sound" folder from this.
3) Inferno Edition UI mod (I deleted the "Realism" folder as is removed enemy health bars)
4) PerfectBlood (There is a fix for Perfect Blood at The Witcher Nexus)
5) PerfectRain
6) WitcherHighRes Characters
7) Sex Takes Time
8) Sword Overhaul
9) Dagger Overhaul
10) Han gives Han
11) Lore Triss Pack (In the books she has blue eyes)
12) Catlike eyes for all Witchers (Again, more lore accurate)
13) Better Leather Jackets
14) Celina Wreath Fix
15) Fair Kalkstein
16) Witcher Ingredient Icons
17) Leuvaardan Buys Salamandran Badges
18) Missing Kalkstein and Leuvaardan Clues
19) Permenant Bodies
20) Geralt Face Retexture
21) Golder Geralt Eyes
22) Kaen Morhen HD Remaster
23) Onkl’s Sound Mod

Reshade works wonderfully, though I couldn't find a preset I liked. I ended up taking an existing one and tweaking it. Here is the site I used to start with as a base, and it will explain many of the mods I linked: https://www.kirmiziperfect.com/installing-best-mods-for-the-witcher-1-guide/

Most of these are also available on The Witcher Nexus, and if not, Google will likely pull up their ModDB page. Of course, you don't need all of these...not every one is as crazy as I am, but this is the setup I ultimately went with (and this is my first playthrough), hopefully this will help you out as well.
