Werewolf fur
Seemed like the right thing to do, leaving the werewolf alive & cured of his curse, but that means I can never get some fur to get that last attribute, (Predator). Anyone know of a way to get this hair in some other way?

Only place in game to get the fur is by killing the only werewolf. To get it by other means you would need to use an editor to add it in.

I figured that was probably the only way, thank you. I had downloaded an editor, but don't know how to use it. I'll take another look.

If your struggling with it I might be able to help. I came across one that uses Java and language settings were you needed to make a custom path for it to work.

I used it to "import" my character into a new game.
The owner of the fur is a scumbag anyway. You're not killing the werewolf so much as the person and in that sense, you should proceed. It's worth it for the lines at the end of the epilogue where the ♥♥♥♥♥ 'lover' pretends she isn't exploiting women for her own gain and thinks she's clean and won't sleep with Geralt (she tells her street sluts to do so however, so they have to gift Geralt rather than herself). Really the lines she spits at Geralt are worth it! She thinks she's in love with trash. It's a shame you can't kill that annoying little ♥♥♥♥ Aston or whoever the child is-I've forgotten already thank God XD

I was afraid that sounded too good to be true, and unfortunately, it was! (At least when I checked with her). I'll check with Abigail again, near the end of my stay in Murky Waters.
Anyway, wastedswan, thanks for answering my query!

looks like it might be a feature of the overhaul mod i use

Please tell me what mod that is, as I am experimenting with various mods at this time.
This is one of those little things that I would like to get done.

Just kill the guy.

He uses his curse to fight crime. Moral cripples & phsycopaths wouldn't understand that, I guess.

To wasted swan; I found a discussion, on the internet about alternate ways to get the fur, but
so far, no joy on finding the mod. (Looks like it was taken down, for some reason. I will keep looking).

He's a sleazy, corrupt town captain that does deals with the criminals while pretending he's great. Interesting you support that.

I found the stand-alone mod to provide the Werewolf's Wrath potion on ModDb. It was provided by snfonseka. Abigail charged 1250 orens, but the job is done, and it worked.

Thanks to all who attempted to help with positive input.

I use the full combat reballance (FCR) mod. You might have a little trouble finding an active DL link but it is most deffinitely worth it. It brings the game more in line with the lore of the books and makes the whole experience much more rewarding. Brute forcing it is out of the question, every fight is a challenge and must be prepared for. Go into a fight without the right oils and potions and you will die.

There are some rage inducing ballance issues though, such as getting dumped out of a cutscene into a fight - the bhargest fight at the start of chapter one is a prime example, so maybe not use the mod on your first playthrough. Another is not needing strong steel style until you run into the mutants at the end of chapter five and feel like you're hitting them with a broom rather than a sword.

There is a full manual for it, if it doesnt come with the installer you need to find it as it is essential. I'll be happy to answer any more queries you have.

Please tell me how the hell Vincent is a "scumbag?"

I'm sorry, did a cop take your baggie of weed once and now you hate all civil authority or something?

Vincent's personality is a bit abrasive not he's not a bad guy and doesn't deserve to be killed. The fact that you can read him wrong is just great storytelling. If you want shallow, one dimentional characters go play skyrim or something. There the bad guys are cliche and good guys are immortal.
