The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

So, I would like to replay but fps in Vizima is killing me (30fps lagging fix?)
I would like to replay Witcher 1, but it's quite laggy on my rig for some reason. And I would like to know is there any special requirement to met to actually run this smooth? I doubt it my computer is problem here, I can run most of 2015 and 2016 games with stable 60 fps. Souldn't I be able to play Witcher 1 in like 120 fps not only in 30 fps in let's say Vizima's Merchant District?
I tried to play W1 on Windows 7 and 10, and only thing I changed in my PC since I lats played this gem is my GPU (from R270 to R390) and suddenly game stert to lag like mad...
Please, help if you can.

The Merchant Quarter is laggy for everyone and it's due to the amount of NPCs placed in that area. No amount of good hardware will change that because it's a constraint of the game engine.

Well I have seen some video (Gopher's) on which he have like zero lag in Merchant Quarter. See this video and move on to 22:52 and see place that is always disaster while raining.

Wonder what he did to run this so smoothly. Also other videos, in burning vizima have decent fps it seems.

I was wondering why I had trouble getting through the battle in the Salamander base, (just before you kill the Professor), since I have a pretty advanced PC, so it's the game engine?
I see your Triss still has her underwear on.:steamhappy:

This doesn't affect gameplay other than transportation. You don't have to worry about it.

Turning off depth of field might help.
