Coleman is MIA

So in Chapter 1 I decided to give the weapons to the squirrels.
In Chapter 2, I started Coleman's quest "The Rat", but went to see the detective before completing it, found out that Coleman died afterwards and decided to load an older save just to complete the quest before his death. I'm a completionist.
But two weird things, after loading that save (which I am sure is before meeting with the detective) not only does the flaming rose armorer refuse to trade with me (he agreed before, and nothing changed) - which is no big deal - but also Coleman is MIA, I can't find him anywhere.

I thought it was a case of the game not resetting part of its memory after loading, so I completely exited the game and loaded the same save again, same thing, no Coleman.

Does anyone have any idea ?

coleman dies if u give weapons to scoaitel.if u want to do this rat quest dont give weapons

Nah. I just needed to talk to the innkeeper.

There was no bug with the loading. I just for some reason swore he was there when I saved, and didn't understand when he wasn't. Subjectiveness ...

If anyone's got some troubles finding Coleman, talk to the innkeeper first.

are u sure u gave weapons to squirells in chapter 1?he must die if u did this.hmm maybe there is a thing i dont know

If you give the weapons to the squirrels in chapter 1, you also have to speak to the detective in chapter 2 before you get that cutscene. By holding off talking to Raymond you can complete the Coleman quests.

I had trouble findng him, because the scoiatel killed him. :D ....talking to the innkeeper as the guy said would make no difference unless it's to see his dead body.
