I guess it all depends on what everyone is considering "cannon", but yeah, the story-lines for Batman lore (or anything, for that matter) can be all over the place.

In the comics, Jason was revived in a Lazarus Pit shortly after Joker killed him. I assume it's a similar situation in this universe, but we don't know for sure.

It's not 'cannon', it's 'canon'.

Cant wait for the day a superhero character would stay dead.

Would actually mean something for once. They'd also have to come up with new ones instead of constantly recycling them.

Theres a rule in comics: Nobody stays dead except Uncle Ben.

And any parents of dead superheroes (with alternate universe/timeline exceptions).

Actually, Jason was brought back to life due to Superboy Prime punching (literally) a hole in time, causing certain events to be set back, bringing Jason back to life, however, he was not in a stable mental state. He was basically a zombie. He was then dipped in the Lazarus Pit by Talia Al Ghul which returned him to a (questionably) more stable mental state, however, it did affect his mind. He then went through tons of training and became Red Hood.

I see. I'm admittedly not overly familar with what happened in the comics, I was basing it on the 'Under the Red Hood' animated movie.

Good thing they didn't hack too much time.
When Batman said Joker sent him the film with Joker Killing Jason, Jason said Liar. So the death was fake

Mar-vel has managed to stay dead for over 30 years, and yeah, origin related deaths tend to stay dead.

Legion of Superheroes deaths tend to stick as well. Aside from the bi-annual reboots, that is.
