He could be talking about CDkeys, the premium edition there is only £24.99.
You can buy the base game for £16.79 and Season Pass for £12.99.

The only reason I didn't get it from CDkeys was cuz I wanted to pre-download and play it right away. That deal is unbelievable though but I got mine for $20 too so not a bad deal either.

Yeah man, well I got base game with the 970 which was nice. That season pass price though, in comparison to steam...tempted to pick it up.

If you're talking about why is it so cheap on CD key selling sites, it's generally because those sites expolit regional price differences (in places where a month's salary is equivalent to a week's salary elsewhere prices tend to reflect this) and how publishers tend to sell bulk orders of CD keys really cheap to hardware vendors for promotions (so they set up a fake company to buy CD keys).

Ever wondered how much the games in console bundles tend to cost the company behind the console? It's usually about $20 per full price game. If key re-sellers are able to buy keys in bulk at that price and resell said keys at even a few dollars profit, it's good business for them.

Wow... I've been playing games a long time and I had never heard of CDKEYS. Is the place legit? I don't mind not being able to pre-download, not for that price difference.

CDKeys is legit, yes. you can also get an extra 5% discount on your order if you "Like" them on facebook.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with CDKeys? I mean there isn't a chance of getting a censored version of a game or something like that in the States with the methods they use is there?

The CDKeys thing is still considered I believe an unauthorized seller, and you are taking your fate in your hands, it seems to get said. As in, could go good or bad.

Green Man Gaming on the other hand is an authorized seller though they did have that dustup with Witcher 3 about where their keys for that came from.
Green Man's purchasing process I've read can be finicky, so you gotta see how that goes.

Steam is the most direct and 100% guarantee, but standard pricing.

I'd also like to know if Cd Keys is legitimate. I've used G2A once and didn't have a problem but this might be different. Out of principle, I always buy my games off Steam/Origin, but Warner Bros/Rocksteady has kinda ticked me off with their DLC practices.
