Arkham Knight, Joker's Son?
Now this just dawned on me, what if the Arkham Knight was to be the Joker's son, or possibly daughter? It's known that this is going to be a completely knew character and it'd be insane if it didn't have a connection to one of the people in the previous games, otherwise the character would have no real meaning to us. So, with that being said, it's a legit possiblity, especially due to the easter eggs in Batman: Arkham City hinting that Harley Quinn was pregnant with a child (If you don't know what I'm talking about, look it up). Then this Arkham Knight could have a direct connection to the Joker and be a "new" Joker with a whole new personality and back story. It's not new for sidekicks or children to follow or take on their parents heritage. Now I'm not saying this is definitly it, but I wanted to hear the opinions of other Batman fans to this idea. There is also the possiblity of this http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Superherofan21/news/?a=96145
where the guy is a clone that is a combination of the Batman and Joker that was created from Batman's blood when he was infected with the Joker's blood. There's also several easter eggs of Cadmus Laboritory that does things with genetics and cloning that point to this in Arkham City as well, making this also a legit possiblity.
Either one would make for an interesting story/game.
What do you guys think?

No.

I believe in HQR they show that Harley's pregnancy was a false positive. Also, even if she was, this is only a year later, so this child would still be a baby.

As for the cloning thing, I hope not. That would be so lame. The 'Evil Clone/Twin' thing has been done to death. I hope it's actually a new character.

Even if it was a new character, I would be surprised if it didn't have an important connection to Batman in some way. I believe it was also in the credits where you can hear Harley Quinn at one point and she's singing the lullaby, "Hush little baby" and so on. Also, if we're talking about the strip, most of them were negative, but there was one positive one that was right next to the crib in the HQR. It is possible it was a false positive, but you never know.

Clone of the Joker that is a good guy would be pretty funny. Imagine how Batman would react to that situation when they would first meet. Probably would think that Joker has been resurrected or something and attack before he has time to explain.

I wouldn't be suprised if there was some sort of connection, but still, a clone just seems way too cliche. I expect more than that.

It's almost definitely a false positive. But, again, even if it wasn't, her child would be about 3 months old.

No, and I sincerely hope Rocksteady does not turn Arkham into Muppets Babies by creating a Legion of Fun Size Doom consisting of JJ (Joker Jr.), the Little Penguin (the littlest species of crime boss), the Homunculus (a small piece of Clayface given life through Poison Ivy's powers) and Escobarcito (similar to Scarface, but based on Pablo Escobar because the new Ventriloquist is too young to know about Al Capone). It is bad enough when comic books insist on delivering through the rear end of their digestive tracts (damn you, Steam censorship) "plots" about clones and faked deaths without bringing carbon copy children into the mix. I am looking at you, Damian "artificially grown to be bad, but in the end daddy's good genes prevailed" Wayne (granted the character was actually interesting, after all, but that does not change his ridiculously contrived origin story).

Also, Harley Quinn was an original character conceived for Batman: The Animated Series. Mercy Graves and Livewire were original characters for Superman: The Animated Series. All of them were successful enough to be incorporated into the comics. I do not see why the Arkham Knight could not work the same way.
