Maybe a prequel that takes place after arkham origin.
Officially Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League follows Arkham Knight and Batman is present there in the beginning.
Suicide Squad wasn’t supposed to be in the Arkham universe, Rocksteady changed that fact in the eleventh hour of development.
How can you follow the events of Arkham Knight?
How about a retcon. Everything that Batman experienced after beginning his final meeting with Scarecrow was an hallucination?
Nope. He's still around. The hired goons in the Two-Face DLC might talk about a vigilante "ghost". I'm sure you can guess who this phantom is.
He also forms the Justice League in the Arkham comics.
Edit: there was also a scrapped story that takes place after Knight. You would play as Damien on a motorcycle and take orders from Bruce,
Even Wonder Woman was canceled from development, again for the same reasons, as well as many other projects canceled from other companies that continue to lose millions, users and developers fired.
The quality had already dropped a lot with Gotham Knight, but Rocksteady still has the ability to retrace its steps, like when things were going well.
Arkham Knight it was the best game in the series ever, Rocksteady should go back to the same quality level and forget about the rest.
I don’t think anyone that worked on the Arkham games are even at Rocksteady anymore.
