Xbox 360 Controller
I was wondering if this game is compatible with the 360 controller. I'm waiting for my adapter in the mail for when I play Origins so I was wondering if Arkham Knight will have its support or if I need an Xbox One or Steam controller.

xbox360=xone - there is no difference for windows afaik. since all batman games are optimized for the 360 controller...yes, you can play it.

i guess there will be no game that will only support the steam controller. at least that wouldn´t be a very clever idea or would really need an exclusive blockbuster-game for the steam-box/controller.

It supports xinput devices but a lot of people have had trouble getting the game to recognize them. The only way my 360 controller will actually work is if I stream the game to my laptop with the controller plugged in there.

My 360 controlled worked for the actual hour I played all right.

that´s strange, since the 360 controller is supported of 90% (more or less...not accurate) of all games. but since batman has a lot of issues..maybe that´s another one of them.

Nope, works 100%. Just like every single Arkham game before it.

I can't use my 360 or xbone controller. When I launch with both mouse and controller connected then the game crashes. If I launch with just the controller I can't use it. If I launch then plug it in it registers as a dualshock controller and I can't use it.
Ah thanks guys!

Meh i'll bite. For me Batman games are good, but not so good that I'll buy them on launch. That's why I waited for Origins to drop to 20$( just as Knight inevitably will if not lower) and for a Steam sale. None of the issues I've seen are game ending. Alot of bad launches have deep design flaws which ruin the game from ever truly being fixed after the bugs have been fixed, for me Knight doesn't seem to be that way and unless I see the base game being ♥♥♥♥ (although to be fair the Batmobile sections look like ♥♥♥♥) I'm still interested since they're going to inevitably release patches for the bugs.

A game I would buy on launch would be the upcoming Deus Ex game which has already addressed the issues of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bosses in HR and has vowed to fix them.

But there's like 1000 threads and counting about how bad this game is over its graphics.

I use a PS4 controller on my PC and it works just fine. The game even registers that its a PS$ controller and shows the correct buttons on screen and even implements the touch pad. I like the PS4 controller more and I've owned a 360 controller for years. If your wondering how I do it, look up DS4 tool 1.2.1 or .2 I think. If your big on RGB with your computer set-up, you can even change the PS4 to whatever color you want. Don't know why I'm giving Sony props right now....

i unplugged my extreme 3d pro joystick and the game recognized my f310 in xinput mode

My DS4 registers in the game, it shows PS button prompts and DS4 controller layout, but it doesn't actually register any input from it... I've got it connected via bluetooth, no other apps controlling it. It works just fine in GTA V except that game shows xbox button prompts.

The Logitec F310 wired controler also works on pc for the arkham knight and arkham city games to my direct experience.(F310 = xbox 360 clone/idiot cousin) :) BTW,they also make an F710 wireless,if U have concerns about interferance with the xbox units. That way U can play all games wirelessly without the 360 trying to come on when want 2 use it on the comp.:)

Today I tried to play with my DS4 wirelessly and the game didin't recognize any inputs, with the wire on it plays perfectly. Both of these trials were done using the DS4 tool.

Unpair it with your pc, re connect with BT. Start up DS4, should work. It does that alot.

No, anyone having issues using a 360 controller with this game is 100% user error. Usually because they have some completly unecessary 3rd party button mapping or input software.
