Harley Quinn Story Pack Bug

So right after the first fight, when harley is instructed to lay down a jack in the box, I was unable to move out of the way and hide. My controller was still responsive, but harley just freezes and can't do anything besides use a gadget again, and then get shot because she won't move out of the way. I am not sure if it is just me, but the controller works completely in the menu. Any ideas?

This happened to me as well my first time playing the dlc. After I died though I just made sure to press the exact buttons the game told me to press when they told me to press them and I was able to move after placing the jack in the box. It bugged for me when I pressed a wrong button, so I assumed that was what caused it but I am unsure.

Its not a bug. You can't move because you are forced to press the buttons the game is telling you to. When you do, she will automatically hide under the floor. It's a tutorial. You don't have a choice in where to go or hide.

I have the same issue, but the game won't respond when I try to select the jack in the box.

I had the same issue. Before you enter the door, I pressed 3 and got the jack in the box to show up. Then when I went through the door had no issue with following along with the tutorial.

I just encountered this bug, searched, didn't find this thread, did the exact same thing, came here to steam to post it, and just found this. Workaround still works as of 2023-11-28, and bug still exists. Select Jack-in-the-box before entering 2nd room of episode after beating up the cops.

I have the same bug, but as of 4/21/2024, the workaround no longer works. If I select the Jack-In-The-Box before entering it still prompts me to select it and I can't do anything.

Edit: It did work, but I had to select it with the scroll wheel in specific. Kinda weird they would let such an obviously game-breaking bug just stick around like this.

Do you mean the scroll wheel on the mouse or something?

I placed a jack-in-the box in the parking lot before the bugged room. I didn't activate it. Maybe that's the issue. But activating/exploding it and choosing the jack-in-the-box as weapon and then enter the room solved the issue for me.
