How to stop crashing (GUIDE)

First thing what I did was the Performance benchmark, but unfortunately the game was crashing all the time when I launched the benchmark.

GUIDE:

1. When the game launches press ALT+ENTER (game will run in windowed mode after the cutsenes)
   
2. Now launch the benchmark/game.
   
3. Use the same combination to run in full-screen!

WARNING
After doing this the lighting sometimes gets f*cked up. But relaunching it in full-screen should work just fine.

I haven't tested if it stops the crashing in the story mode.

lol, i never try benchmark but seriously crash?

UPDATE: It works everywhere. Game for me isn't crashing at all.

Just launch the game, press ALT+ENTER, go to benchmark (You can find it in Settings) or launch the story. When you are in the game/benchmark press ALT+ENTER again and you should be free from crashing

Iam having issue with the begining cutscene after the main menu, my game just closed itself...any idea?

Is it possible to use someone else save file to avoid crash at the begining? like save file which somewhere not at the begining

My guide didn't work for you? ;d It's my first guide so.. I know it's hard to understand

Don't forget to do the macarena and eat a raw egg afterwards. Otherwise it won't work.

Hmmm.. :/ I dunno. I launch the game. While there are cutsenes (Unreal Engine, Nvidia etc.) I press ALT+ENTER and just click Story. When the actual game starts (you must press SPACE to.. eh.. won't spoil) I do the same combination, to bring it back full-screen.

mine doesnt get to any screens. just crashed on the black screen. tried the window thing or setting it to windowed on launch through geforce experience.

Can you upload ur save file and just privately send the link? i would like to test my method to see if this can solve a problem that some of us get. Or anyone else here who have no issue at the startup of the game.
