7fps in the batmobile
MonkeyBone Jun 23, 2015 @ 1:10am
Just did a benchmark in-game with everything maxed, 37fps lowest, 58fps average. The interactive smoke/fog is the FPS killer, without it lowest fps is 48fps. Will update when i'm actually playing but as of right now this isn't good, it dosn't look that much more impressive than City yet the demand is insane.

Getting between 40 and 70 depending on the scene, in the batmobile will dip down to 20s and 30s. Entering/exiting a building causes some stuttering but thats the same as all the previous games. That's at 1440p max settings except normal shadows and AA off.

1080p? or 1440p?

on a 980 ti, at 1080p, i get between 40 to 80 fps, when flying, most likely 35-50 fps, when on ground and fighting, always +60 fps, on batmobile 40 to 60 fps

I precise that this is the almost the same with everything maxed or everything on low...

will wait for patches and mods,

1080p. Should also report that there has been a fair few amount of stutters and instances with the Batmobile that dropped FPS to sigle digits. This game needs some serious optomisation.

Really? mmm that would explain why I have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance. Will check that out. And there is a fix to unlock the 30 fps limit.

1080p, 57-59pfs, everything maxed including smoke etc. All I did was up the max frames to 120 in notepad and go into my nvidia setting and set everything to high performance. Before this the game was a mess, screan tear and frame drop central, now it's beautiful.

Not enough to play it on a 980 here, What I am noticing is no matter what I do, Physx is locked to CPU, so any smoke/destruction/paper and it tanks.

Every other game I've tried to launch (Borderlands 2, Earlier Batman titles for Ex...) enables GPU Physx but no matter what driver, clean install or otherwise, will enable GPU Physx on this game.

Checking the default xxEngine.ini files...

bDisablePhysXHardwareSupport=true

so I gotta guess that = the bad "Gameworks" performance on some configs?

whats your gpu? do you just put the texture setting in nvidia control panel to high performance?

GTX980, I have a brand new x99 with 8 core i7 and 32gig of ddr4 though, I don't know if that makes things a little better. It was awful in the eraly hours, the screen would tear all the time, stutter and appalling fps. I had to go into the nvidia control panel and literally make sure everything was on highest performance, now vsync is on and it's smooth with zero tearing, the benchmark did have a lowest dip to 42fps but it's almost 60fps mostly.
