Arkham knight Identity Theory
I think the arkham knight is Ra's al ghul. He's the only one with the fighting skills and resources to raise an army. He also has motivation for revenge after what hapenned in arkham knight. The flaw on this theory would be that Ra's is not the kind of guy to work together with anyone, he wouldn't let scarecrow tell him what to do. But its the best theory i could come up with.

Again and again. Arkham Knight is a complete new character designed by rocksteady and Geoff Johns himself.

The arkham knight is, but that doesn't mean the man under the helmet is (is what people always say)

I personally want it to be some artificially aged damian but that's just my pipedream

" Keep him away from ace chemicals. YOU VENGEANCE WILL COME."- Scarecrow
How can someone new to the universe have something to avenge?

Simply by having writers come up with something.

When the character Hush was created in the 2000's (IIRC) they gave him this extensive backstory about how he was a childhood friend of Bruce and was always jealous of him and grew up hating him because of it.

So even original characters can have have backstories created for them that make sense for them to "want revenge"

Lincoln March in court of owls just a few years ago is another great example.

Good point. But if he's a new character it will be completely anticlimactic. All this huge drama surrounding him just to end up being someone we have no idea who he is.

Yes and No

It will certainly not be as big of a reveal moment for it to be "bob smith" compared to if it were jason todd

but at the same time, if it were an established character than the universe would not be getting a new character. If it were ras for example, then he'd just go right back to being ras and the name arkham knight would become useless

going back to the character of Hush that I mentioned in the previous post.. it was a big mystery who he was when that arc happened in the comics. So imagine if it turned out to be someone we already know (like joker or penguin) then we wouldn't have a new character that can be reused in other stories.

If arkham knight is a totally new guy, maybe he'll pop up in new stories in the comic books.

I don't care, But if the Scarecrow actually ends up the big bad, It will be a ♥♥♥♥ game and no mistake.

Also Jokers not dead.
I think there's a bigger chance of the Arkham knight being Jason Todd (Red Hood)

I saw some footage that Rocksteady quickly took down. Whoever filmed it got one of the copies early or something. Appearently some places broke the street date.

I kind of like how the Joker is handled in the main thingy. He appears as hallunication/ghost/other in various places during the game's story.

Thats a good theory. But arkham knight is just a year after Arkham city. How did he grow up so quickly? and even if he aged artificially, there's no way he could learn how to fight better than batman with just a year of training.

@Sneaky Beaky what if he has been alive for years and never revealed to bruce after all he was already a few years old in the comics when bruce found out about him, he could be a teen in this game and could have been training with league of assassins.

Thats a really good theory. You might be right
