He was somewhere in his early 20's in Arkham Origins (he had been Batman for about 2 years at that point - it was hinted that he left Gotham to train to be Batman at around age 18). 25 at the absolute oldest. Can't narrow it down any further than that. AK takes place 10 years later.
Batman is an educated person. I doubt the Arkham incarnation would skip his college education. After all he is a Wayne in the public's eye. He would have had to embark on a fancy college and afterwards go on to train.
The INITIATION DLC takes place in YEAR 0 (prior to the events of Origin's game) and at this point Bruce Wayne was already well versed in quite a few martial arts styles. Not to mention he had to be really good to be permited to join them in the first place. He was traveling the world for years training and honing his skills.
As I've said in the video mastering one martial arts discipline takes 2 to 4 years of rigorous training. There is really no way he could be early 20s in Batman Arkham Origins.
They (WB) imagined him as being in his 20's in Origins but admitted that if you do the math it doesn't add up right and went on to say that because superhero ages are always in a state of flux in comic books they were never too concerned with having his age make sense between Origins and Asylum.
In other words you're over thinking the situation and putting way more thought into it than WB ever did who themselves have admitted that it's not really supposed to add up properly or make sense.
Pretty much so yes :)
I figgured I'd try and estimate as reasonably as possible how old Batman would be considering his fighting style, time it would take to master them, college education etc.
Games and comics are a bit far off from reality but I thought, if anyone was curious, to give the most realistic estimate of Batman's age in the Arkham universe.
