Is it just me, or is the batmobile undrivable?
I haven't had any performance issues (AMD-8150, 24GB RAM, GTX-960), but have found the batmobile entirely undrivable. I'm skidding all over the place, destroying everything in my path, crashing in to buildings, and losing the chase.

Where is the d*mn throttle and traction control?!?

Any tips / tricks I'm missing?

Honestly, it controls amazing compared to driving in games like GTA or any other games TBH. Just give it some time and just get some more practice.

Are you playing with a controller or KB+M?

Im playing on KB+M but I have to say it has one of the best steering. Compared to GTA, Far Cry and stuff.

Well, it's raining...what did you expect? ;)

After driving around for hours just testing to get the best fps I finally got the hang of it and now I consider it quite cool. However, it does seem to be a bit like driving on ice even in the riddler tracks.

I use a gamepad and battle mode to round corners (and stabilize) most of the time. The action key for rounding corners is a little too sharp to me, but I think it's sensitive to how long you hold it down.

Don't worry about destroying anything and have fun.

i agree, i love the handling/controls... have you done any of the riddler races, so much fun:)

i felt it took a bit to get used to, but once you finish some races it becomes very intuitive

The riddler challenges are very imaginative and the design is very good imo. It seemed like a chore at first but you have to appreciate the effort that went into this as well. I'm starting to feel like this is the best Batman game out of the series now...aside from the optimization of course.

Yes, people just need some time to get used to the mechanics. Gameplay wise this is the best of the Arkham series, it's truly an amazing achievement by Rocksteady although Arkham City had the best story.

I love the driving mechanics, sometimes I get bored and drive as if I was actually obeying traffic rules :v

I find that the brake on the car acts wonky after uncapping the frame rate to 60. But then I usually eject myself when I've reached my destination rather than actually stop the car.

Get used to the mechanics, especially the drift (power slide) which will slow down the timer every time you do in race tracks. Also, recommend you use keyboard and mouse for driving; it's much more responsive than controllers.

I agree. it's extremely difficult to handle. The sensitivity is just too high and there is no way to adjust it.

it's intended undriveable for lamers like totalbiscuit who refuse to drive a car in games.

Hahaha! love it

It drives amazingly well when controlled on a keyboard, I just can't drive cars with keyboards... on a Controller it's pretty normal, but the fact I can drive while using a keyboard is awesome!!
